Wedding and Executive Car Hire is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We take our duties under the Equality Act 2010 seriously, and aim to meet the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML throughout — proper headings, landmarks and lists
- Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including the mobile menu
- Colour contrast tested at WCAG AA across all text (4.5:1 normal, 3:1 large)
- Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked as such
- Body text at 18px by default, scalable to 200% without loss of content
- Animations respect the user's "reduce motion" system preference
- Forms with labelled fields, helpful errors and 44px-plus touch targets
Known limitations
No website is ever finished. We're aware of the following and working on them:
- We have not yet had the site externally audited by a specialist accessibility tester. Any issues found will be added here.
- The Wedding Secret partner badge in the footer is a third-party image we don't control. We have given it informative alt text.
