Wedding Car Hire

The car at the door sets the tone for the day.

A vintage convertible, a seven-seater for the bridal party, or a modern M4 with the ribbons across the bonnet — pick the one that feels right and we'll handle the rest.

Honeymoon transfers to any UK destination are available on request.

What's included

Everything we'd want at our own wedding.

  • Ribbon and bow in your colour theme

Cars are dressed to suit your wedding palette. Just let us know in advance.

  • Silk flower arrangement on the parcel shelf

Where the car has one — neutral arrangement included as standard.

  • Umbrellas onboard

Because this is the South-West, and rain is not a wedding emergency.

  • Two transfers to the same venue, when practical

If venue and pickup are reasonably close, we can shuttle bridesmaids before returning for the bride at no extra charge.

Worth checking

Three things to ask any wedding car operator.

Wedding car hire is unregulated in the UK. There's a wide range of quality and a wider range of prices. After 16 years on the road, the three questions that matter most:

  • 01. Current MOT certificates

Historic vehicles over 40 years old are MOT-exempt — that is a grey area where insurance is concerned. We carry full MOTs across the fleet.

  • 02. Public Liability insurance

Increasingly required by venues before a wedding car can drive onto the site. Always worth checking with your operator.

  • 03. Service history and modern engines

Our vintage Beauford and Bramwith both run modern engines, so a 250-mile day is no harder for them than a 25-mile one.

The day itself

A relaxed morning.

Quite often we're asked if we can do two transfers to the venue or church. We're more than happy to do this — and if the route is relatively close there's no extra charge.

Cars are supplied with a ribbon and bow to suit your colour theme, along with a neutral silk flower arrangement on the rear parcel shelf where available. Umbrellas are always onboard.

Due to licensing laws we are no longer able to supply alcohol, but we're more than happy for you to provide your own — let us know beforehand and we'll make sure flutes are with the car.

Check availability for your date

Most weekends in season are booked four to six months ahead, but midweek slots open up regularly. A quick call is the fastest way to find out — Graham picks up most days.
