Wedding and Executive Car Hire ("we", "us", "our") is the controller of personal data collected via this website and the booking process. We take your privacy seriously and process your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and run your booking:
- Your name, email address, and telephone number
- Your wedding date, venue and pickup address
- Anything you tell us in the enquiry form's free-text field
- Booking-form details required to operate the service
Lawful basis
We rely on the following lawful bases under Article 6(1) UK GDPR:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the wedding car service you have booked
- Consent — when you submit the enquiry form, you are consenting to us using your details to reply
- Legitimate interests — to operate the website and protect against fraud and abuse
- Legal obligation — to retain certain booking records where required by HMRC
How we use your data
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, agree a quote, manage your booking, and (where you have travelled with us) provide you with the service on the day. We never share your personal data or email address with a third party for marketing purposes.
Retention
Computerised data held about a wedding is deleted at the end of the month following the booking. Paper-form booking records are stored securely and retained in line with HMRC requirements (typically six years). If you would like records held about you to be deleted before that point, please email us at info@weddingandexecutivecarhire.co.uk and we will be happy to do so.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics product that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any tool that tracks you across sites. Because we do not set tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
We may collect non-identifying server-level information automatically — aggregate request counts, the country a request originated from, the page that referred you to us — for security and capacity planning.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how we use your data
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data rectified
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Receive a portable copy of your data

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk . We would, however, appreciate the chance to put things right first — please contact us before going to the ICO.
